Dr. Rachelle Reed, PhD, MS, ACSM-EP

Dr. Rachelle Reed, PhD, MS, ACSM-EP is an exercise physiologist, industry scientist, and science communicator working at the intersection of research, technology, and consumer health. As Head of Scientific Research and Science Communication at Therabody, she leads research strategy, scientific partnerships, and evidence translation across wellness and recovery technologies. She also serves as a Scientific Advisor to Perspire Sauna Studio, is a member of the American Council on Exercise (ACE) Scientific Advisory Panel, and contributes to industry initiatives through organizations including ACSM.

Over the past 15 years, Dr. Reed has advised health, fitness, and wellness organizations on research, product development, scientific credibility, and consumer education. Her experience spans academia, fitness, recovery technology, and digital health, including previous leadership roles at brands such as Orangetheory Fitness, Pure Barre, and Xponential Fitness. She is a frequent media contributor and speaker on topics including exercise, recovery, longevity, women's health, and translating science into practice.

Her work focuses on helping organizations bridge the gap between research and real-world application, ensuring that scientific evidence is communicated accurately, responsibly, and in ways that meaningfully improve people's health and wellbeing.
