If your workplace offers a Flexible Spending Account (FSA) or Health Savings Account (HSA), here’s some news you should know: Perspire is now accepting FSA and HSA cards as a means of payment.

With this policy update, you can now make your money go further at Perspire.

FSAs and HSAs allow you to contribute a portion of your pre-tax salary to cover medical-related costs and expenses. Check with your workplace or plan administrator for more information.

If you’re currently enrolled in one of these plans, you can now add your FSA or HSA card as a payment option in your Perspire account. That means using pre-tax income on everything from your Membership to your juices!

Just keep in mind that you must register some HSA cards as credit cards.

Yes. FSA funds are usually limited to eligible expenses incurred during a one-year time period. Any unspent amounts are forfeited. It’s important to know your plan’s deadline and purchase eligible items before your funds expire. Contact your FSA plan administrator or employer for additional information.
Unlike FSAs, HSAs do not have set expiration dates. That means you don’t have to worry about using your funds within a certain timeframe. Still, we recommend contacting your plan administrator for further details.
If your FSA or HSA card is declined, contact your employer or plan administrator via the number located on the back of your FSA or HSA card. Most of the time, this is due to expired FSA funds, newly issued FSA/HSA cards or unfunded accounts.
